Selling my 2006 BMW F650GS Dakar. 6000 or best offer, 37K miles. All set up for your next adventure ride: has luggage rack with Caribou hard panniers, crash bars, metal reinforced handguards, Touratech low mud fenders and chain guard, new battery, and fresh registration/state inspection. Great bike for trails, adventure touring, or even just commuting. Has ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM (can be turned off), electrical outlet, four gallon locking fuel tank, center stand, warmed handlebar grips, 21 in front and 17 in rear. The Dakar edition features an extra 3ins of suspension travel for tackling offroad rides. Very reliable, easy maintenance schedule. These engines are bulletproof and very efficient. I am only selling mine because I bought another BMW! If you want the bike shipped that is fine, but you will need to arrange that. I have a pretty crazy work schedule and can't set that up for you. Laser unleashes more power from S1000 RR
Mon, 11 Jan 2010LAZER has unveiled a new full exhaust system for the BMW S1000RR, which unleashes even more power from the near 200bhp superbike. The system's made from high strength aircraft grade titanium, while the silencer is the new carbon HotCam II. Laser claims the race system will return a power increase of 13.1 bhp.
EICMA 2012: Bimota BB2 Concept Revealed with BMW S1000RR Engine
Fri, 16 Nov 2012Bimota revealed a new concept sportbike at the 2012 EICMA Show equipped with a BMW S1000RR engine. The Bimota BB2 concept is the first product of a new partnership signed with BMW that would see the German manufacturer supply S1000RR engines for Bimota. The S1000RR engine has class-leading numbers, with the 172.4 hp we measured in our 2012 European Literbike Shootout a 10.4 hp advantage over any literbike we dyno’ed for that shootout or the Japanese Literbike Shootout.
