1998 BMW R1200CThis bike is in as new condition as can be for a pre-owned bike. Very clean 12k miles , tires good New battery 8/6/13. Upgraded windshield still have the OEM BMW windshield. This 1 just a little taller. Rear seat pops up for rider back rest. When I ride this bike down by Potosi and we stop at the gas stop in town always some guys on Harleys got to come check it out. Indian Launches Six-Part Custom Build Series on New Scout

Each build draws inspiration from Indian Scouts from the past, while showcasing the new model’s potential as a platform for customization. The first episode sees Roland Sands and Aaron Boss of RSD conceptualizing a build inspired by Ed Kretz, who won the inaugural Daytona 200 in 1937 on an Indian Scout.

OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes

KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
