2014 BMW S 1000 RR, This bike is carbon-ized!!! We took a 2014 S1000RR in the Red/Black/White color and added R&G Cotton Reels, Frame Sliders, Tail Tidy (not shown), Block Offs (not shown), and Axle Sliders. Then, added a smattering of carbon to this jewel. Wind Deflectors, Pillion Cover, Heel Guards, Tank Cover, Plaque Holder, Rear Fender, Front Fender, Body Cover... all in carbon. Then, finished it off with a Yoshi Ti/Carbon pipe. Pricing of accessories are NOT included in the price of the bike.This bike is carbon-ized!!! Charley Boorman Tours Canada for New Series
Wed, 08 Jun 2011Actor and adventure rider Charley Boorman is getting ready for another journey, this one taking him across the Great White North on a tour of Canada. Best known for his Long Way Round and Long Way Down documentaries with his friend and riding partner Ewan McGregor, Boorman is touring Canada for a new series called Extreme Frontiers: Canada for the U.K.’s Channel 5. BMW Motorrad Canada will provide Boorman with his ride, likely from its GS line.
Transport Canada Recalls 2013 BMW R1200GS for Traction Control Bug
Thu, 21 Feb 2013The 2013 BMW R1200GS hasn’t arrived in showrooms yet and it’s already been subjected to its second recall in Canada. Fortunately, this means the problems should be corrected before BMW‘s updated adventure-tourer gets delivered to customers. Earlier this month, Transport Canada announced a recall for the new R1200GS for a potential transmission oil leak.
2012-2013 BMW S1000RR Recalled for Loose Side Stands
Mon, 17 Dec 2012BMW has initiated a recall on the 2012 and 2013 S1000RR because the side stands may not have been correctly installed. According to Transport Canada, the side stand attachment bolts may loosen, causing an S1000RR to fall over while resting on the stand. At the moment, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has yet to announce a recall, but American members of Motorcycle.com‘s S1000RR Forum say U.S.
