BMW Other description

I have added a whole slew of farkles in order to make this bike more comfortable and practical. They include:
  • Gel battery (March '16) to replace the POS oem battery
  • Seat Concepts seat (February '16) to replace the POS oem seat that made you slide forward all the time
  • Givi powder coated rear rack
  • Cee Baileys 16" windshield (much quieter)
  • Happy Trails skid plate
  • SW Motech footpegs
  • SW Motech engine guards
  • BMW oem side racks
The BMW options on the bike are:
  • Spoked wheels
  • Accessory power socket
  • Center stand
  • Heated grips
The bike came standard with ABS - switchable on/off, The Rotax designed engine is extremely smooth and quiet at 60mph. The bike has the remainder of the 3/36 warranty until 8/7/17. The ONLY reason I am selling this is a bike that I looked at six years ago is for sale and it would be an easy decision if I sold this first.

Cash only sale, available for inspection. Bike is listed elsewhere. No warranty other than the manufacturers remaining warranty. Sold as is where is. Clear title. Low ball offers cheerfully ignored. Mileage will increase as I occasionally ride this to work. Please feel free to ask questions.

FIM to Revise WSBK Homologation Requirements

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

The International Motorcycling Federation is considering modifying its homologation requirements for the World Superbike Championship following Bimota‘s somewhat surprising plans to re-enter the series. Under current regulations, manufacturers must produce a minimum number of motorcycles for it to be eligible to compete in the production-based WSBK championship. The official regulations currently require a minimum of 125 units produced for an initial homologation inspection, 500 units produced by June 30 of the current year, 1,000 units by the end of the current year and 2,000 units by the end of the following year.
