The best American bagger is the Bavarian one with the Inline-Six Have I at long last, no sense of decency? Road test after road test, I shamelessly fawn and toady over all these $30,000 motorcycles loaned to me by the masters of the universe who produce them… I do feel some guilt, but this is really the only job skill I’ve got. Thankfully, sometimes the motorcycle makes it really easy to gush, which is the case with BMW’s freshly overhauled K1600 line.

BMW Reports Q3 2012 Results

BMW reported a new company record for third quarter motorcycle sales, selling 26,755 BMW motorcycles in the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2012. The record result is a 1.7% increase over the 26,312 units sold in the third quarter of 2011.

British Moto-Journalist Kevin Ash Dies at 2013 BMW R1200GS Press Launch

Respected British motorcycle journalist Kevin Ash has died following an accident at a BMW press launch in South Africa for the R1200GS. Ash was a long-time columnist at the U.K.’s MCN as well as the founder of British magazine Fast Bikes. Ash was also a popular freelancer, most notably as the regular motorcycle correspondent for the British newspaper the Daily Telegraph.
