Naked BMW S1000RR Spied

Shot at a BMW test facility, the photos reveal a half-faired motorcycle with the S1000RR’s engine.

The R1200RT has gone liquid cooled, inheriting the new boxer engine with BMW’s “precision cooling” technology from the new R1200GS. Take a 1991 BMW K100, put in a whole load of creativity and 99 hours of effort and you get this: the Works on Bikes EX BMW. Called the EX BMW because the two guys and girl behind this custom from Milan only kept the engine and part of the original frame. It uses wood, steel, laser machining, CNC and probably the odd bash with a hammer.
