WSBK 2013: Laguna Seca Race Report

Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.

Training with Marco Melandri

New BMW World Superbike recruit, Marco Melandri has been using the Bavarian manufacturer's connection to Husqvarna to get himself a nice new motocross bike for the off-season. Melandri has been riding the Husky TC250 in preparation for the 2012 season, whilst the winter testing ban was in effect. Laser unleashes more power from S1000 RR

LAZER has unveiled a new full exhaust system for the BMW S1000RR, which unleashes even more power from the near 200bhp superbike. The system's made from high strength aircraft grade titanium, while the silencer is the new carbon HotCam II. Laser claims the race system will return a power increase of 13.1 bhp.
