BMW R 1200 GS ADVENTURE in highly sought after Triple Black. Like brand new with only 1,700 road miles. Break-in service done at 600 mis at BMW dealership. Comes with all three BMW panniers, backrest pad, aux lamps and laminar lip (not pictured). Garaged, only ran on premium gasoline and taken very well care of. All paniers keyed to ignition key and purchased at dealership - so they are covered under manufacturers warranty as well. This Adventure has been babied since new - I am the original owner.

2014 BMW R1200GS Adventure Revealed

BMW has updated its R1200GS Adventure for 2014, giving it similar updates introduced on the R1200GS including the liquid-cooled 1170cc boxer engine. The more off-road capable version of the GS now has more power than ever before, as well as the option of coming with BMW’s semi-active suspension. Click here for more photos of the 2014 BMW R1200GS Adventure The new engine has the same peak output as the base GS, claiming 123 hp peak output at 7750 rpm, an upgrade over the previous air-cooled engine’s claims of 110 hp.

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

EICMA 2011 Preview: BMW Maxi-Scooters to Debut in Milan

BMW will present its 2012 lineup at the upcoming EICMA show in Milan, Italy, but the centerpiece will be the company’s first maxi-scooters. The German manufacturer is expected to reveal two scooter models, both derived from the Concept C BMW unveiled at the 2010 EICMA show. The two scooters are expected to be powered by a version of the parallel Twin engine used in the F800R, but with a lower displacement in the 500cc-650cc range.
