2012 Bmw F 800 R, Like new, factory warranty until 6/16 or 36K, BMW engine bars, and first service complete! - This 2012 F800R is in wonderful condition and could almost pass for new. One mature adult owner that took great care of the machine. Equipped from the factory with ABS, heated grips, on board computer, and fly screen. BMW engine protection bars will ensure the bike continues to look this good. BMW factory warranty until 6/4/2016 or 36,000 miles! The first service was completed here at Second Wind. Highly capable, super light, and precise handling make for a smile winning combination! The new 2012 F 800 R is definitely the hottest naked bike around. Three words best describe the F 800 R: light, agile and fast. This cool and sexy roadster offers the perfect combination of highway riding with a high degree of maneuverability for everyday urban use. And the F 800 R's 798 cc, two-cylinder engine doesn't just look cool, it sounds cool too. The F 800 R with 87 horsepower and an impressive 63 foot pounds of torque, offers excellent ridability. Great ergonomics mixed with a firm chassis and a perfectly balanced geometry round off this cool package. The F 800 R is great in the city, stable on the highway, and agile on the backroads. With this much fun, the standard ABS is welcome too, as are other features such as hot accessories and intelligent luggage solutions. And finally: it’s a BMW - and a pretty cool one, too.

BMW bling and new mittens

Fri, 08 Jul 2011

An hour and a half in my shed was all it took to bolt two boxes of goodies from R&G Racing on to my S1000RR. The casing covers (£190.00), cotton reels (£25.49 ), frame inserts(£21.00) and crash protectors (£67.99)are a doddle to bolt on and come with all the necessary allen bolts. The multi adjustable rearsets (£350.00) are equally as easy to fit (they must be if I can do it) and also come with clear instructions.

BMW M 1000 R and Updated S 1000 RR Coming for 2023

Mon, 19 Sep 2022

Updated 999cc Shiftcam engine It’s been nearly two years since BMW first debuted the M 1000 RR, its first motorcycle to carry the company’s high-performance M brand. We knew it wouldn’t be the first, though, after we broke the news that BMW had trademarked the name along with “M 1000 XR” and “M 1300 GS.” What we didn’t expect was for the next M-branded motorcycle to be based on the S 1000 R. That now looks to be the case, as a new M 1000 R model has appeared in vehicle certification documents in Switzerland and Germany.

Steve Jobs: Rest in peace

Thu, 06 Oct 2011

Like me you probably discovered the news of Steve Jobs' death on an iPhone, an iPad or iMac. Years before turning Apple into the cool brand that it is today, Steve Jobs rode round on an old BMW. Apple said his "brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives.
