Lowering is now available as an option for the F 800 GS, too. So in conjunction with the low seat, this means it is possible to create a seat height of 32.3 inches. Meanwhile, ABS as standard, ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) and the optional ASC (traction control) ensure the familiar degree of comfort and the necessary safety. Carlos Checa extended his lead in the 2011 World Superbike Championship, winning both races at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park. The Althea Ducati racer recorded his second double of the season and now has six wins in ten races. Checa also scored the double in Utah in 2008 when Miller Motorsports Park made its debut on the WSBK calendar.

Called the EX BMW because the two guys and girl behind this custom from Milan only kept the engine and part of the original frame. It uses wood, steel, laser machining, CNC and probably the odd bash with a hammer.

NHTSA Fines BMW $3 Million for Late Recall Reporting

BMW has agreed to pay civil penalties of $3 million for failing to report safety defects in a timely manner to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. By U.S. federal law, manufacturers are required to notify NHTSA of safety defects or noncompliance issues within five days of discovering the issue.
