BMW Other description

This is a 2011 BMW S1000RR with 5800 miles on it.  I am the original owner, bought in March of 2012 at MAX BMW as new, it has a little over a year of factory warranty left.  I had installed a full Leo Vance exhaust system, K&N and R&G Frame Sliders.  This is a very clean bike that was cleaned after every ride no matter how far.  It came equip with ABS, Traction Control and Quick Shift options.  All routine maintenance through local BMW dealership.  Buyer will have to pick up or pay for shipping, payment will have to be confirmed before I ship anywhere.  Please email or call with any questions, but please only serious buyers.

Own (what could be) a piece of motorcycling history

Get bidding for what could be a revolutionary motorcycle, as the advert states all you need is, "a fair wedge of ingenuity" to marry together a BMW K75 and the 1.4 diesel engine from a Citroen AX. Thankfully the seller will be able to help with the project: "I have most of the design lodged firmly in my head, and will be more than happy to provide information." With a starting price of £100 and no bids the diesel project bike only has one day left on eBay

2014 BMW US Prices Released – R nineT Only $800 More Expensive than R1200R

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

If you’ve been considering a new BMW motorcycle this year, then you must be eagerly awaiting the German manufacturer to release its 2014 prices. Now that your Christmas bills are paid off (at least, you would hope), you can start budgeting for your new Beemer, now that BMW Motorrad USA has released pricing information for the five newest models to its lineup, the R nineT, S1000R, R1200GS Adventure, K1600GTL Exclusive and R1200RT. Perhaps the most welcome news is the R nineT’s pricing at $14,900, making it just $800 more expensive than the R1200R‘s $14,100 price tag.

2023 BMW M 1000 R Review - First Ride

Thu, 15 Dec 2022

Excessive excellence Credit: Photos by BMW Motorrad/Markus Jahn and Jörg Künstle Nothing succeeds like excess – and by concocting the 2023 M 1000 R (or “MR” as they’d like us to call it), BMW is doing its best to confirm the truth of that axiom in a two-wheeled context. How else to characterize a Naked-as-Nature straight-Four hotrod with upright handlebar and no screen, which has a 14,600 rpm redline and produces a claimed 206.5 hp at 13,750rpm, with claimed peak torque of 83.3 lb-ft at 11,000rpm, that has a homologated/proven top speed of 174 mph and weighs just 438.7 lbs with all liquids, including a full 4.4-gallon tank of fuel? Consider that just a decade ago the factory S1000RR Superbike racer which BMW’s works riders Troy Corser and Leon Haslam raced in the 2011 WSBK series produced 216 bhp at 14,900 rpm, and it’s clear that the new MR super-roadster is a statement of intent that can’t be ignored.
