2011 BMW S 1000 Rr , Shift Assist, ABS, Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Rain, Sport, Race & Slick modes. Has 33,746 miles (will continue to go up). Located in Hendersonville TN. Still under BMW factory warranty until December 2013 or 36,000 miles. I purchased the bike in March 2013 and put on 4k miles. The bike is true to all the reviews. Trying to sell and get the new 2014 HP4. I purchased this theft bike from Farm Bureau with a salvage title. Rebuilt the bike, had it inspected by the State of Tennessee, and passed inspection. The title is now a Tennessee rebuilt title, and the bike is registered and street legal. I have many pics and video, just send a request to view. This converted BMW R1200RT has two 20 or 25 liter tanks (contain a premix of water and foam) mounted on either side that is connected to a 6.8 liter compressed air tank on the back of the bike that has a 20 to 30 meter hose. They are currently being used in the U.K.

2011-2013 BMW F800GS and F700GS Recalled in Canada

Transport Canada announced a recall for the 2011-2013 BMW F800GS and the 2013 F700GS because of a problem with the kickstand ignition cut-off switch. The switch is designed to turn off the engine when the stand is down and the motorcycle is shifted into gear; this prevents the motorcycle from being ridden with the kickstand deployed. On certain BMW F800GS and F700GS models however, the cut-off switch can loosen and become damaged.

NHTSA Fines BMW $3 Million for Late Recall Reporting

BMW has agreed to pay civil penalties of $3 million for failing to report safety defects in a timely manner to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. By U.S. federal law, manufacturers are required to notify NHTSA of safety defects or noncompliance issues within five days of discovering the issue.
