2011 BMW R 1200 GS ADVENTURE, Still under warranty till May 2014. Mileage will change as I still ride it. Separation means I have to let it go otherwise I would put 100k miles on this bike. I have street tires and a set of off road tires that will come with the bike too. I added highway pegs , 12v outlets and have 2 seats. I have clear title in hand. BMW Reports Q1 2013 Results

BMW reported worldwide sales of 24,732 motorcycles over the first three months of 2013, a slight increase from the 24,373 motorcycles sold in the same quarter in 2012. These figures include sales of 1,110 Husqvarna motorcycles before BMW sold the company to KTM boss Stefan Pierer. Sales revenue from BMW Motorrad however was down 2.7% to 436 million euros (US$569.2 million) over the quarter from 448 million euros last year.

Ever since Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman rode their BMW’s around the world it seems anyone with a ‘GS’ has an open ticket to ride around the world and then write about it. And fair enough, if I could afford the bike and the trip then I’d be gone as well. Obviously, BMW reaped the rewards when Ewan and Charlie showcased what their GS could really do, changing BMW’s image from solid but stuffy, to solid and cool overnight.

NHTSA Fines BMW $3 Million for Late Recall Reporting

BMW has agreed to pay civil penalties of $3 million for failing to report safety defects in a timely manner to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. By U.S. federal law, manufacturers are required to notify NHTSA of safety defects or noncompliance issues within five days of discovering the issue.
