2011 BMW K 1300 S, Selling my 2011 K1300S. It is loaded, with ABS, ASC, GSA, ESA. TPM, hard bags. Aftermarket includes full Akrapovic titanium exhaust system, Power Commander, Givi tank bag with ring, Garmin Zumo 660 attached at triple tree, and Ztechnik smoke windscreen. Akrapovic has less than 150 miles on it, as the previous version had to be replaced when the can was accidently cracked. 6,000 mile service completed, has less than 6,500 miles on the odo. Tires are in great shape, have less than 1,500 miles of wear. Change in my personal life requires the sell. Great bike and a great price! $14,450.00. This converted BMW R1200RT has two 20 or 25 liter tanks (contain a premix of water and foam) mounted on either side that is connected to a 6.8 liter compressed air tank on the back of the bike that has a 20 to 30 meter hose. They are currently being used in the U.K.

BMW Set Single Month Sales Record in April 2013 – New R1200GS Represents 27.7% of Sales Volume

BMW announced it set a new company all-time sales record for a single month, delivering 14,587 motorcycles to customers in April 2013. That represents an 11.5% increase from the 13,088 motorcycles sold in April 2012. The record month helped push BMW‘s overall sales over the first four months to 39,319 motorcycles and scooters, a 5.0% increase from the 13,088 units sold in the same period of 2012.

BMW Acquires Original Factory

BMW has acquired a 3.2-acre parcel of land that includes the company’s original factory. Built in 1918, the historic site in the Milbertshofen district of Munich, Germany, housed BMW’s original aircraft engine production plant. The company says the land will become the new home for BMW Group Classic, a subsidiary that documents BMW’s past.
