BMW Other description

2009 Bmw K 1300 GT, This is One Beautiful K1300GT with an extended service plan until 3/31/16!!! - Time machine - the latest news. The first owner of this unit is a journeyman aircraft technician that understands the need for thorough upkeep and maintenance. This bike was ridden on the freeway as a commuter and on several longer trips. Always garaged or covered when at rest the paint is both glossy and lively. The seat Fabric looks great as does the controls and instruments. It has received a complete and thorough 54K service and brake flush early and is wearing a new set of Michelin Pilot Road III tires plus a brand new Cee Bailey Windshield. The original owner had the top case cover painted to match the Royal Blue finish and that really sets this one off. Although a Navigator is not included, it is GPS prepped for the Garmin Nuvi 500 / 550 or the Zumo 220. The clamping device and wiring is ready to go if you add the Garmins described. It is also cabled for a Gerbing electric vest. The best part is this bike is covered with a Western Service Contract that is good until 3/31/16 with unlimited miles of coverage. This is a zero deductable plan transferable to the next owner. This is one sweet K13GT in top condition for a very fair price. The BMW K 1300 GT. Gran Tourismo - or in the case of the BMW K 1300 GT quite simply one of the fastest movers around. It opens up a new era in the timing of long distances. Nonetheless: impressive though the average travel times may be on this machine, its performance is also fascinating at low speeds, for example after a hairpin bend. This is because at engine speeds you operate in more than 80 percent of the time on the road – i.e. the lower and middle ranges – this engine adds something you can feel instantly: 99 pounds force foot from 1,293 cubic centimeters. No ifs or buts. And 160 horsepower for the three-lane motorway. The fact that this in-line 4-cylinder is very low-key when it comes to fuel consumption and exhaust emissions makes fast travel even more pleasing. And it also demonstrates once again how modern engines ought to be built. The success formula GT is the sum of many intelligent details: top ergonomics - both at front and rear, exemplary aerodynamics and weather protection, safety (ABS as standard, ASC as an option) which sets standards and a level of comfort which enables relaxed, supreme travel. Then there is a high-precision chassis with a low centre of gravity, as well as optional ESA II to adapt the chassis mode at the press of a button. So here’s a tip: Save yourself the effort of looking for an alternative. Get into gear right away. The BMW K 1300 GT: Dynamic performance has never been more stylish.

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.

According to MV’s Stefano Campaci, the Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro had to appeal to both motorcyclists and even non-motorcyclists alike.

Wed, 02 Apr 2014

A notice to any potential law breakers out there: Victory is getting in on the police bike business. Using stock Cross Country models modified with only lights and sirens, the Victorys may not be as ill-equipped for chases (at least slow speed, parking lot chases) as you might think. Just check out this video below for proof.
