BMW Other description

My loss is your gain! I need cash so, unfortunately for me, my new BMW must go. This bike is better than new. It s already past the break-in stage and just had its 6000mis inspection and checkup. You ve got the chance to jump on a new bike for far less than it cost and can ride it however you d like since it has already seated the rings and has been broken in. As you can see in the photos this bike has been taken very good care of and has only been ridden by myself. It is highly optioned and rides like nothing you ve been on before. And with the huge 7.1 fuel capacity coupled with incredible fuel economy you can go long distances very inexpensively. With a base weight of only 571 lbs and 110 horsepower available, this bike will really perform! And of course it comes with world class brakes to help get it back down if you choose to twist the throttle. It has twin 4 piston calipers to grip the front roter. And then there s the powerful dual piston caliper at the rear to catch anything left over that the front brakes couldn t handle. The bike s seat height is 32ins which lends itself to taller riders. And although it rides and handles like a dream and this is because of the high horsepower. It s very easy to get comfortable on this 1 and forget what you re really riding. This bike is the perfect machine for long trips. It has heated seat, warmed grips, cruise control, and BMW s sweet factory tail trunk with passenger back rest. The tail trunk was dealer prepped and painted Sand Beige Metallic for a perfect match to the rest of the bike. All storage including the trunk share the same key as the ignition. The R1200 engine has the upgraded feature of the anti-vibration balancer shaft! The bike is still under warranty until September 2011. Don t let this rare opportunity pass you by. I m including several images to capture this bike s appearance and condition for you. It needs absolutely nothing but a new owner that will take it and put it to

Commenting on riding motocross the Italian said: “I ride a lot, almost every week, I like riding with friends, mainly just to have fun.

BMW Helps Vertically Challenged

Tue, 02 Dec 2008

No matter where they go or what they do, it seems that people who are vertically challenged always get the ‘short’ end of the stick, pardon the pun. Historically, if a pint-sized person wanted to get into the hobby of motorcycling, their choices were limited to bikes like the Suzuki Marauder, Ninja 250 or HD Sportster (the thought alone makes my back hurt.) BMW Motorrad now has good news for riders who either need or simply prefer a lower seat height, but do not want to compromise on model choice. BMW is the first motorcycle manufacturer to launch a range of models that can be ordered from the factory with lowered suspension – to provide customers with low seat height options.

Adventure Riding in the American West – A Photobook

Thu, 09 May 2024

Photobook “Adventure Riding in the American West” is live on Kickstarter! Olivier de Vaulx, a long-time collaborator with our friends over at Upshift Magazine as well as many other international publications, has launched a project of his own on Kickstarter this week: A 200-page photo book that compiles 10 years of riding in the most remote places of the West. Cutting no corners, as Olivier says, this book will be a 9 x 12 inch hardcover, printed on archival-quality paper.
