Larry Pegram To Race EBR 1190RX In 2014 AMA Superbike

Larry Pegram and Erik Buell Racing will be partnering up in 2014 to race an EBR 1190RX in AMA Superbike. This will be Pegram’s third different OEM in as many years, as he rode a Yamaha last year, BMW before that and Ducati in 2011. Supporting Pegram will be his long-time title sponsor, Foremost Insurance Group, along with EBR sponsors AMSOIL and Hero MotoCorp.

Long-haul touring models have yet to receive Road Glide and Street Glide updates Harley-Davidson recently updated its Street Glide and Road Glide models, introducing a number of changes including new fairing designs with integrated lighting. While not every one is a fan of the new batwing or shark nosed fairings, it does seem odd that the new fairings hadn’t yet made their way to the Road Glide Limited and Ultra Limited models. Schaller Replacing von Kuenheim as Head of BMW Motorrad

BMW is shuffling its management team, with current head of the its motorcycle business Hendrik von Kuenheim getting reassigned to the automotive side of the company. He will be replaced by Stephan Schaller on June 1 in a domino-effect series of reassignments. Pictured to the left in the picture above, Von Kuenheim has been in charge of the motorrad portfolio since 2008.
