BMW M 1000 R and Updated S 1000 RR Coming for 2023

Mon, 19 Sep 2022

Updated 999cc Shiftcam engine It’s been nearly two years since BMW first debuted the M 1000 RR, its first motorcycle to carry the company’s high-performance M brand. We knew it wouldn’t be the first, though, after we broke the news that BMW had trademarked the name along with “M 1000 XR” and “M 1300 GS.” What we didn’t expect was for the next M-branded motorcycle to be based on the S 1000 R. 2025 Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello Range

Fri, 08 Nov 2024

Euro5+ compliance, radar tech and new special edition model The V100 Mandello was a groundbreaking model when Moto Guzzi introduced it in the 2022 model year. With a new liquid-cooled 1,042cc “compact block” 90° V-Twin engine, six-axis IMU, and industry-first active aerodynamics, the V100 immediately brought a jolt of modernity to a brand that was deeply steeped in its century-old history. For 2025, the Mandello receives its first update since its debut, achieving Euro5+ compliance, a more refined transmission, and, for the S variant, front- and rear-facing radar systems.

WSBK: 2012 Misano Results – Video

Tue, 12 Jun 2012

Max Biaggi strengthened his hold on the 2012 World Superbike Championship lead with a pair of wins at Italy’s Misano circuit. The Aprilia rider out-battled the Althea Ducati duo of Carlos Checa and Davide Giugliano to win Race One before taking a relatively easier Race Two victory. Before the races, WSBK riders lined up on the starting grid to hold a banner expressing their support for the Emilia region in northern Italy which has been suffering from earthquakes and continuing aftershocks since late May.
