2006 BMW R1200GS Adventure - This GS Adventure is loaded and ready to ride. With only 5k miles it is barely even broken in yet. This GSA is fully loaded with factory options including : Black Spoke Wheels, Heated handlebar grips, Upper and Lower Crash Bars, Cylinder Head Covers, Adjustable Windshield, Adjustable Driver Seat, Aluminum Skidplate, Handguards, Front Beak Extender, Oversize Footpegs, etc. This GS Adventure comes with BMW Vario Saddlebags, standard GS rear luggage rack and PIAA driving lamps. It just got a complete service so it is completely ready to ride. This GSA was ordered without ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM so it would function better off road. The original owner had aspirations of riding this bike around the world and thought the ANTILOCKING BRAKES would be a hindrance.   Team USA’s third day began with a total disqualification from the overall standings. Kirk Graydon, our competitor from South Carolina, began feeling ill during day two, making it into camp on fumes and eventually getting an IV and nausea medication to help relieve his symptoms. With no appetite and a shot from the doc to help him sleep, Graydon slowly started feeling better, but elected not to continue the GS Trophy alongside his teammates the following day due to safety concerns for himself and others.

BMW Fuel Pump Recall Hits US, Affecting 50,184 Motorcycles

A recall affecting 18 different BMW motorcycle models from seven model years has been announced for the U.S., affecting 50,184 motorcycles. At issue is a potential leak in the fuel pumps or auxiliary fuel pumps on 2005-2011 BMW R series models, 2005-2012 K series models, 2006-2010 HP2 models and 2010-2011 S1000RR sportbikes. A similar recall was announced last month in Canada, affecting 6,325 motorcycles, and we knew it was a matter of time before the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced one for the U.S.
