BMW Other description

2006 Bmw R 1200 RT, Exceptionally nice RT. - Even the long road home will feel too short. Combining the potent torque of the BMW Boxer engine with the sophisticated design and smooth ride of a premium-touring machine, the R 1200 RT delivers an optimal mix of excitement and ergonomics. It’s equally at home nimbly leaning into a Rocky Mountain pass or gliding gracefully over a grey slash of Montana highway. A two-section adjustable seat, electric windshield, and BMW’s rider-tested Paralever and Telelever suspension systems all contribute to the uncompromising comfort of the R 1200 RT – mile after mile after mile. Add to this a modular luggage system with plenty of capacity, and optional extras like the Navigator II system, and the only limit to how far you can go is how much time you take off of work and how much gas money you have in your pocket.

EBR 1190 Wins 2011 European Superbike Championship

Wed, 02 Nov 2011

Harald Kitsch and the Pegasus Race Team has won its second championship on the EBR 1190RR, capturing the 2011 European Superbike open race class title. The championship follows Kitsch’s win in the 2010 Sound of Thunder V-Twin Championship on the Erik Buell Racing racebike. While the Sound of Thunder championship was won against other V-Twin machines, the European Superbike class included sportbikes from the Japanese Big Four, BMW, Aprilia and Ducati.

BMW bling and new mittens

An hour and a half in my shed was all it took to bolt two boxes of goodies from R&G Racing on to my S1000RR. The casing covers (£190.00), cotton reels (£25.49 ), frame inserts(£21.00) and crash protectors (£67.99)are a doddle to bolt on and come with all the necessary allen bolts. The multi adjustable rearsets (£350.00) are equally as easy to fit (they must be if I can do it) and also come with clear instructions.
