New 2026 Honda CRF300F Coming to America
Tue, 24 Jun 2025Air-cooled off-road model first revealed in Brazil Honda is preparing to introduce a new air-cooled CRF300F model for 2026. The off-road model was first revealed last month at Festival Interlagos in Sao Paulo, Brazil, but Motorcycle.com can confirm the CRF300F has been certified by the California Air Resources Board, indicating it will be added to American Honda’s 2026 lineup. Based on the CRF300F’s name, it would be easy to assume it to be an offshoot of the CRF300L, using the 286cc liquid-cooled Single that has powered several Honda 300s over the years.
BMW Reports Record Motorcycle Sales in 2024
Mon, 20 Jan 2025Finally some good news from a manufacturer, as BMW Motorrad reported its a company record of 210,408 motorcycles sold worldwide in 2024. The R 1300 GS played a big role in BMW's success, though we note that the company lumped its sales along with the R 1250 GS and GS Adventure and the R 1300 GS Adventure. That obscures how the 1300 models fared against the 1250s on the dealer floor, which would be interesting to find out.
MV Agusta Chairman Hubert Trunkenpolz Interview – Part One
Wed, 26 Jun 2024Back in the Black Photos by Fabio Polimeni In November 2022 Italian trophy brand MV Agusta, wholly owned since 2019 by Russian entrepreneur Timur Sardarov and his family, and Pierer Mobility AG – KTM’s parent company – reached an agreement on ‘future strategic cooperation’, as a result of which the Austrian firm headed by Stefan Pierer would acquire a 25.10% stake in MV Agusta via its KTM AG subsidiary. At the first meeting of the newly constituted MV Agusta board on November 15, a capital increase of €30 million was agreed, denoting the sum KTM had paid to acquire its new minority shareholding in the company. As part of this strategic alliance KTM took charge of purchasing all components needed to manufacture MV Agusta’s entire range of models, as well as responsibility for marketing, distribution and after-sales service for MV Agusta on a global basis outside Italy.
