2005 BMW R 1200 GS, One owner bike. Built the way it should have been from the factory with tons of functional upgrades including - Ohlins Shocks (front & rear), Sebring full exhaust, CeeBailey's +4" windscreen, Touratech HID light kit, Touratech pegs, Touratech rear brake foot extension, Touratech kickstand switch protection, Touratech rear brake switch protection, Touratech headlight protection, Touratech oil cooler protection, Touratech steering stop crash guard, Touratech front fender extenstioin, Touratech package tray travel bag ($170), Touratech passenger XL seat bag ($365), BMW cylinder head crash guards, BMW factory panniers, BMW factory "medium" & "high" seat. New set of Continental TKC80 knobby tires installed. Ohlins shocks ($1600) transform bike into completely different machine (stock suspensioin is junk). Full Sebring exhaust ($1500) has nice mellow tone and dissipates heat nicely keeping everything much cooler. HID light ($575) is brighter than both headlights combined and is a must for night riding. Bike has had zero problems. Change oil, adjust valves, add gas and go! Amazing machine, but time to get a lighter/smaller machine. $11,500.00 OBO

Josh Hayes and Blake Young picked things up where they left off by trading wins at the 2012 season-opening AMA Superbike round at Daytona International Speedway. Reigning champion Hayes of Monster Energy Graves Yamaha took the first race handily, leading almost right from the start of the 15-lap race for the win. Yoshimura Suzuki’s Young, who finished second to Hayes in the 2011 AMA Superbike Championship, responded by taking the second race, but only by a slim 0.002-second margin.

BMW Unveils “Near-Production” C Evolution Electric Scooter Prototype

BMW has unveiled the a new “near-production” prototype of its electric maxi-scooter. The German manufacturer has produced five operational prototypes of the BMW C evolution scooter which will be showcased at various events around Europe to prepare for the launch of the serial production version. The BMW C evolution maintains many of the styling cues from the Concept e scooter unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.
