BMW Other description

2004 BMW K1200LTC, Fall is just around the corner (a twisty one too) here in the Mid-Atlantic and there???s no better time to grab a well-cared for one owner BMW Luxury Touring machine from Bob???s Advantage Certified program. This K1200LT Custom originally served as the official Bob???s Sales demo when first placed into service back on October 6 of 2003 and then the only actual owner it has had purchased it from us in May of 2004. It has led a fairly pampered life since then logging just a little over 27,000 miles in the past 8 plus years and other than what appeared to be a typical and very minor parking lot or driveway tip over it shows zero signs of any damage, incidents or neglect or even outside storage. This client even did most of his own fluid changes just bringing it to Bob???s for major services, brake flushes, etc. over the years. The LTC came from BMW with most of the goodies one would want in this level of luxurious two-wheeled comfort and fun. They have ABS and an amazing chassis and suspension which might as well be attached to a sport bike but it???s so much more comfortable for rider and passenger and of course it has heated grips and heated seats, the on board computer, CD changer in the saddlebag, cruise control, Communications system, anti-theft alarm, tall electrically windscreen, the optional chrome package (we replaced the one bag guard that had the evidence of a minor tip over) and the larger passenger and rider footpegs, glove box with connections should you wish to add a CB later on and the full size trunk with another glove box and vanity mirror along with a chrome luggage rack with brake light is also part of this great package.

Teaser: 2012 Japanese Literbike Shootout – Video

Thu, 29 Mar 2012

The last time we assembled the superbike offerings from the Big Four Japanese manufacturers to determine the alpha male model was 2009. The CBR won that confrontation, but a lot’s changed since then. For 2012 Honda revamped the CBR1000RR, Yamaha added traction control to the R1, the GSX-R1000 lost a muffler and last year Kawasaki introduced an all-new ZX-10R.
