2002 BMW K 1200 LT, K1200 LT 2nd owner and have owned it for the last 6yrs. The bike has always been garage kept and has been maintained professionally by trained techs.The equipment includes Radio,Cassette with a 6disc CD player/changer.ABS brake system (the best brakes than any other bike around) in my opinion..Electronic cruise control and on board computer. Heated seats front and rear with heated grips.I drive this bike to work 145 miles a day. Front wind shield new powers up and down, New brakes front and rear .Tires are still in great shape,but have already bought new ones that I will go with bike.This is the ultimate touring motorcycle by far.It has been serviced as required by BMW and truly a trouble free riding pleasure. BMW Recalls Several Models in Canada for Potential Fuel Leaks
Thu, 19 Dec 2013Transport Canada has announced a recall on 18 BMW models across several model years spanning from 2005 to 2012 because of a risk of fuel leaks (the full list of models and model years is below). As of this posting, no recall has been announced for the U.S. but the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) currently has an investigation open for a similar issue, potentially affecting 45,588 BMW motorcycles.
Used Review: Arai RX-7 Corsair helmet
Thu, 01 Apr 2010This is the lid that saved me from a face full of road and stopped a big bacon slicer (a front disc) from carving a canyon in the top of my head. This helmet was transformed from gleaming white accessory to scrap when I got back from taking the new BMW S1000RR to Morocco. A pedestrian ran into me from behind a bus and the two of us hit the ground. She’s okay and so am I apart from getting knocked out and breaking my shoulder.
