2001 BMW K 1200 LT, This motorcycle is in excellent condition. It has been well cared for and garaged. I have pictures that show the minor blemishes. I bought this bike last summer to replace my well used 2000 model that needed repairs. Regretfully, I am getting too old for a bike this heavy. I can no longer pick it up or get it on the center stand should I have a flat tire. I have over $7000 into this motorcycle and, while I don't want to get beat up too badly, I really need it gone. I will consider any and all offers. Max Biaggi strengthened his hold on the 2012 World Superbike Championship lead with a pair of wins at Italy’s Misano circuit. The Aprilia rider out-battled the Althea Ducati duo of Carlos Checa and Davide Giugliano to win Race One before taking a relatively easier Race Two victory. Before the races, WSBK riders lined up on the starting grid to hold a banner expressing their support for the Emilia region in northern Italy which has been suffering from earthquakes and continuing aftershocks since late May.

BMW Reports Q2 2012 Results

BMW reported a 8.9% decrease in motorcycle sales revenue over the second quarter of 2012 but still managed a 1.3% increase over the first half. According to German manufacturer’s second quarter report, the BMW and Husqvarna combined for 410 million euros (US$507.7 million) in revenue over the second quarter ended June 30, 2012, a decrease from the 450 million euros reported in the same period last year. Revenues for the first half totaled 858 million euros (US$1.06 billion), a 1.3% year-over-year increase from 847 million euros.
