2001 BMW F 650 GS, Excellent condition, runs great! I've had this bike since April,( put 900 mi on her) and have done the following: New Sargent seat, replaced hand guards, handlebar grips replaced, new mirrors, new chain and sprockets, replaced countershaft gear cover, replaced air filter,(11/13), oil and filter @23,976 mi, new radiator/coolant(11/13). Currently has street legal knobby tires,(approx 6 rides off road with themand included are the Metzler universal tires that came with the bike,(50% tread left). Also included are assorted spare parts: new countershaft sprocket, chain master link, assort bolts/screws, one grip, and Service Manual. AND a TMS Dual Sport jacket with armor, XL, Yellow. Got this bike to try off-road riding again,(after 40yrs!) and have really enjoyed it ..but I have decided I want a more serious , lighter, motocross type dirt bike instead. Odwarka Replaces Blesse as VP of BMW Motorrad USA

Former Husqvarna President Kris Odwarka has been appointed the new vice president of BMW Motorrad USA, taking over from Hans Blesse who is leaving the position to head the BMW Group’s Canadian subsidiary. Odwarka (pictured on the left, above) will be in charge of BMW motorcycle sales and marketing in the U.S. starting on June 1.

Hero MotoCorps Hires Ex-BMW Designer Braunsperger

Hero MotoCorp has hired former BMW designer Markus Braunsperger to lead the Indian company’s research and development division. Braunsperger once held a similar position with BMW in the early 2000s, developing models such as the K1200S before moving on to BMW’s automobile division where he helped design the 5, 6 and 7 series sedans as well as the X3, X5 and X7 SUVs. Braunsperger will head Hero’s new R&D center in Rajasthan, India, starting in October.
