2013 Long Beach International Motorcycle Show Report

After feasting from a continental breakfast buffet the discerning journalists set to the task of reporting on the bounty of new model motorcycles – most of which has been previously showcased in our November EICMA reporting. 2015 BMW K1600GT and K1600GTL Get Traction Control as Standard Equipment
Fri, 04 Jul 2014BMW is updating its big six-cylinder touring bikes with traction control as standard equipment and a number of new optional add-ons including keyless remote ignition. Previously available as part of BMW’s factory-installed Safety Package option, the Dynamic Traction Control system will now be standard on all 2015 K1600GT and K1600GTL models. The system continuously monitors rear wheel traction during acceleration, stepping in when it senses excessive wheel spin.

Wed, 08 Dec 2010Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old. Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.
