1998 R1200C with ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM and a professionally mounted Butler sidecar needs to go to a new owner. This motorcycle has been very well maintained and is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic (see images) condition. It was set up by the well known Perry Busong of Ft. Worth and handles very well on all road surfaces; cruises the interstate with ease. It comes as shown with custom windshild (and the BMW one) and the BMW sidecases. The tires are good to new: sidecar 90% at 3500 mis, front 50% at 8,000 mis and rear 95% at less than 1,000 mis. The rear is a 185x60 R16 metic car tire (good for 25,000+ miles) the others are the long running Avon Mark II. 2013 BMW F800GT Revealed in CARB and EPA Documents
Fri, 31 Aug 2012Documents released by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board confirm the existence of a new member of BMW‘s F800 lineup, the F800GT. The 2013 BMW F800GT will likely be a more touring-oriented replacement for the F800ST (pictured above) which was conspicuously absent from the CARB document.

BMW Warns of Potential Defect in 2014 R1200RT Suspension
Thu, 05 Jun 2014BMW is issuing a warning to owners of the 2014 R1200RT with the Dynamic ESA option about a potential defect with the rear suspension. No formal recall has been announced at the moment; BMW is calling it a precautionary measure, though that may change in time or depending on the market. According to BMW, the piston rod of the rear spring strut could break.
