1998 R1200C with ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM and a professionally mounted Butler sidecar needs to go to a new owner. This motorcycle has been very well maintained and is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic (see images) condition. It was set up by the well known Perry Busong of Ft. Worth and handles very well on all road surfaces; cruises the interstate with ease. It comes as shown with custom windshild (and the BMW one) and the BMW sidecases. The tires are good to new: sidecar 90% at 3500 mis, front 50% at 8,000 mis and rear 95% at less than 1,000 mis. The rear is a 185x60 R16 metic car tire (good for 25,000+ miles) the others are the long running Avon Mark II. BMW Sales Down 2.3% in First Half of 2012 but Record Finish Still Predicted

BMW predicts a record year for motorcycle sales despite a 2.3% dip over the first six months. The first half of 2012 saw BMW sell 59,189 units, down from the 60,580 units reported for the same period in 2011. The decrease is primarily because of a 13.2% drop in sales in June.
