BMW Posts Record First-Half Figures

BMW Motorrad sold a record 60,580 motorcycles over the first six months of 2011, a new record for the German manufacturer. First half figures were 6.3% higher than the 57,015 units sold in the same period in 2010. BMW reports strong demand across all its models, with the Boxer engine R-series models leading the way.

SPYDER Club motorcycle hire club invites two wheeled enthusiasts to join them in southern Spain for 4 days of riding through the mountains of Andalusia on the Aprilia RSV4 Factory, Ducati’s 1198S and the company's latest arrival, BMW’s new S1000RR.  Guests arrive from the 12th February with the final riders leaving on the 7th March. BMW Unveils “Near-Production” C Evolution Electric Scooter Prototype

BMW has unveiled the a new “near-production” prototype of its electric maxi-scooter. The German manufacturer has produced five operational prototypes of the BMW C evolution scooter which will be showcased at various events around Europe to prepare for the launch of the serial production version. The BMW C evolution maintains many of the styling cues from the Concept e scooter unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.
