BMW Other description

1985 BMW K100, 1985 BMW K100 Cafe Racer, blacked out, fair shape, open exhaust. This bike would make a great starting point for a nice cafe racer. It's got the look now but could use some cosmetic love. The paint is amateur and the tank has some dents including a very large one under the pouch that is mounted to it. It has a 4-into-1 open exhaust that sounds really cool but makes the bike run rough. It can be ridden the way it is but you'll definitely want to do some tuning to get it to run more smoothly. The brakes should also be bled. They both work but they are both soft at the lever/pedal. It has a brand new battery and the engine and transmission are in solid shape. Call 312-878-8711.

How to destroy a GoPro

Wed, 14 Mar 2012

That scraping sound you can hear is a mixture of a knee slider and the GoPro camera housing grazing the tarmac at Mugello. The footage was shot on-board the BMW Motorrad France Team Thevent machine ridden by Hugo Marchand, in testing ahead of the 2012 Endurance World Championship. He managed to wreck the housing that holds the GoPro camera after only three laps.

BMW bling and new mittens

Fri, 08 Jul 2011

An hour and a half in my shed was all it took to bolt two boxes of goodies from R&G Racing on to my S1000RR. The casing covers (£190.00), cotton reels (£25.49 ), frame inserts(£21.00) and crash protectors (£67.99)are a doddle to bolt on and come with all the necessary allen bolts. The multi adjustable rearsets (£350.00) are equally as easy to fit (they must be if I can do it) and also come with clear instructions.
