1981 BMW Other , 1981 bmw r65. Just over 27000m, starts every time, runs great. Have round headlight setup, if you prefer naked look. Comes with vetter quicksilver fairing and bags, tool kit, cover, other accessories. Only issue is broken speedometer needle. I bought this from it's original owner in March. He and I have maintained it very well. All service is documented. I just had a blast over the summer and now feel like I want more of a sport bike. This is a great commuter and highway bike, I've been all up and down the east coast, eastern shore of MD, and it performs wonderfully! Email for more and better photos, and any further info. Larry Pegram’s EBR 1190RX AMA Race Livery Looks Sharp!
Wed, 05 Mar 2014In January news broke that Larry Pegram would be teaming up with Erik Buell Racing to race the 1190RX in AMA Superbike. At the time no official photos were revealed, but that’s all changed as Pegram posted these pictures of his completed 1190RX in full race livery on his Facebook page. These photos were captured during team testing in Florida, and the colors show off the all-American design motif.
BMW Motorrad USA Reports 7.4% Growth in 2011
Fri, 13 Jan 2012BMW Motorrad reported a 7.4% growth in U.S. sales in 2011, nearly double the growth reported in the previous year. The 7.4% growth is also higher than the overall worldwide growth of 6.4% BMW recently announced.
Seeley On Form On First Night Of North West 200
Fri, 16 May 2014Alastair Seeley took a double in the Ballymoney Borough council Supersport and Pirtek Superstock events at the start of racing at the Vauxhall International North West 200 this evening, what many “real” road racers refer to as the precursor to the Isle Of Man TT. In the Supersport race, the ‘Wee Wizard’ survived being caught up in a first lap crash at York hairpin that left him languishing in 16th to come through and win the opening race of the night on his Mar-Train Yamaha R6. Lee Johnston was the rider who went down in the first lap crash, causing Seeley to take evasive action to avoid going down himself.
