BMW K-Series description

BMW K 1300 R.

This adrenaline rider is purely a muscle bike rider's pride and joy. The special ability to bend and orbit unlike any other. This is an everyday use bike, from the fuel consumption to the exhaust emission- it defiantly shocks the average rider. The satisfaction with the build of this bike is never ending. The color of this bike is unique. Only a few of this model were produced in the orange.

The BMW K1300R is a naked motorcycle launched at the end of 2008 to replace the K1200R as BMW's flagship urban motorcycle. The K1300R produces a claimed 173 hp (129 kW) @ 9,250 rpm from its 1,293 cc Inline-four enginewith torque of 140 N·m (100 lbf·ft) @ 8,250 rpm.The engine was subtly modified by British company Ricardo plc. It has an exhaust butterfly flap to boost torque and improve exhaust note. The K1300R features BMW's optional ESA-II electronic suspension adjustment. The bike also has a conventional indicator switch instead of the usual BMW three button configuration.

The K1300R can also be considered a muscle bike, a slang term for bikes with high power output and fast acceleration. In tests carried out by Bike Magazine in the UK, it was the fastest 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) muscle bike at 2.81 seconds, beating its next closest competitor, the Suzuki B-King, by one tenth of a second.

On Oct-14-13 at 07:54:29 PDT, seller added the following information:

The bike has insurance and is fully registered. It was originally purchased from a seller in the mid east who did all the paperwork to make the Canadian bike street legal and headache free! The process took him months and did cost a bit, therefore I am firm on the price. Originally, I purchased the bike for $24,000. Please do not inquire about the bike unless you are a serious buyer only! Thank you!
