BMW K-Series tech info
BMW K-Series description
This BMW K1200LT is nothing short of absolutely gorgeous with just a little over 32,000 miles! She hasn't even begun to start seeing the world!
This Silver beauty has all the options that come with this model and everything works great...Reverse gear, Cruise Control, Heating grips, Heated seats, BMW Motorrad Navigation mount, PIAA lights, On board computer, CD player ( currently removed to make room for more luggage space ) I have the CD player and all hardware if you want to re-install it. There is a small DICE unit installed in it's place to play direct from your Ipod.
It has a large electrically adjustable windscreen with additional mirrors installed on the windscreen, that works fantastic to see what's coming up from behind.
This BMW rides perfect and looks awesome. I am starting the bid at a very low $4,500 w/ no reserve. KBB lists this bike at $5300.00. In my opinion, It's worth that and more. It is a truly gorgeous BMW that turns heads everywhere I go. I literally had a woman gasp when she saw it once, No exaggeration, she literally gasped and said...Wow that is beautiful!

The Falloon Files: 1973 BMW R90S
Mon, 24 Oct 2022Let's Boxer In 1973, I was beginning to look at the streetbike magazines as well as the dirtbike ones on the magazine rack at Lyons Drug; there must’ve been 20 or 30 of them, and plenty of time to browse as there was no www, and very little hope of obtaining any motorcycle at all anytime soon. The 1973 BMW R90S was a chunk of pure unobtanium, from a planet far, far away, that knocked my striped tube socks completely off. Ian Falloon wrote an entire 128-page book about it.
Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care
Tue, 26 Mar 2013A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.
