EICMA 2008: First Impressions

I have had a little walk around checking out the preparations for the show. I haven’t seen anything that I haven’t already seen or heard about previously, but here’s a selection from three of the halls. Road test after road test, I shamelessly fawn and toady over all these $30,000 motorcycles loaned to me by the masters of the universe who produce them… I do feel some guilt, but this is really the only job skill I’ve got. Thankfully, sometimes the motorcycle makes it really easy to gush, which is the case with BMW’s freshly overhauled K1600 line.

The folks at Edmunds took the 2014 Corvette Stingray and put it to the test at Willow Springs International Raceway versus its usual competitors: the SRT Viper , Nissan GT-R , Porsche 911 , Porsche Cayman S , Ford Shelby GT500 and the BMW M3 . It looks like the "Stingray vs. The World" title suits the video well, given there is one car from Japan, a few from Europe and another one from the U.S.
