BMW K-Series description

Like new, silver, all standard and options except blue down lights, including ESA, cruise control, electric windshield, Garmin GPS, ABS, saddle bags and liners, top box and liners. Will throw in tank bag adapted to fit the bike. Have Italian GPX exhaust and Corbin seat that will include for extra, negotiable price. Bike has trailer hitch installed, which is included. Have a 2003 Aspen Classic trailer with king bed that will also part with if wanted for extra, negotiable price. Additional photos available. Some scratches on left side of bike (see photos) due to parking lot tip over (trailer was attached and driver backed into it).

EICMA 2012: BMW F800GT Announced as Replacement for F800ST

As we reported in August, BMW is replacing its F800ST sport tourer with a new, more touring-oriented version called the F800GT. Revealed at the 2012 EICMA Show in Milan, Italy, the 2013 BMW F800ST is equipped with a 798cc parallel Twin engine claiming 88 hp at 8000rpm, an increase from the BMW F800ST’s claim of 84 hp at 8000rpm (the 2012 F700GS and F800GS also claims 84hp from a similar engine.) Other changes include better wind protection, lighter wheels, new higher-mounted handlebars, repositioned footrests, and load capacity increased to 456 pounds from 432 pounds. Like all current BMW motorcycles, the F800GT comes standard with ABS.

Tom Sykes snapped up a pair of wins at Magny-Cours, setting himself up in good position to capture his first World Superbike Championship at the season finale in Jerez in two weeks. The Kawasaki rider scored his series-leading eight and ninth victories of the season, giving him a commanding 37-point cushion over Eugene Laverty and 38 points ahead of Sylvain Guintoli. Sykes needs only score at least 13 points in total over the final two races at Jerez to secure the championship.
