Cee Bailey's extended windscreen and headlight cover; TechSpec grip pads on tank; Sargent Cycle heated seat (front and rear), stock seat included; Kathy's Journey Designs Bag Liners(custom fit to hard luggage - removable); ContiMotion tires (less than 200 miles on the set); All updates and service accomplished by BMW dealer (receipts included); Equipped with removable BMW tail trunk (see pics); Bike is stored indoors, on a battery charger. Only issue is the rear tire pressure sensor is intermittent (replaced twice by dealer, he's still scratching his head). I will assist buyer by making myself available to accommodate shipper. With an MSRP of $19,995, the 2025 Ducati DesertX Discovery offers a middle-ground between the $17,995 baseline DesertX and the more hardcore $22,995 DesertX Rally. The DesertX Discovery comes standard with reinforced handguards, engine guards, a radiator grill, water pump protection, and a beefier bash plate than the standard DesertX.
BMW Unveils E-Scooter Concept
Fri, 01 Jul 2011As we expected BMW has revealed information about a new scooter model, releasing pictures of a new electric maxi-scooter concept. The BMW E-Scooter was developed with funding form Germany’s Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development.The E-Scooter was created with two goals in mind: to offer performance comparable to a 600cc combustion engine-powered maxi-scooter and to offer sufficient range for an urban commuter. BMW wanted the E-Scooter to provide enough power and speed for freeway passing and climbing steep slopes even with a pillion passenger.
BMW Reports Q2 2011 Results
Wed, 10 Aug 2011BMW posted another record quarter, reporting sales of 37,471 motorcycles in the three months ended June 30, 2011. First quarter unit sales were 3.6% higher than the 36,175 motorcycles sold in the same quarter of 2010. Combined with a record first quarter, BMW has sold 60,580 units in the first half of the year, a 6.3% increase over 2010.
