BMW K-Series description

I love this bike but health issues force sale.  It has a new factory transmission that set me back $4300 last spring. Apparently this was an issue with the 06 models that you won't have to deal with. Oil, brakes, tires, battery (super light and powerful lithium ion) are all recent. This bike needs nothing for a cross country trip! Electronically adjustable windshield offers great protection.

Options include the largest factory top case with backrest, electronic suspension adjustment, trip computer, heated seats (I believe the heated grips were standard, as were the antilock brakes). This bike cost over $22k new. It's a beautiful dark gray. There are scratches on both sides figured into the price (see detailed photos). There are also auxiliary flashing LED brake lights.

With only 26k and well sorted mechanicals, this bike is going to make someone happy for a long time to come!

Fri, 12 Nov 2021

Prelude to battle MO’s string of naked motorcycle shootouts continues, and this time we saved the best for last. We started things off in June with the middleweight class, seeing the Triumph Trident 660 emerge from a six-bike shootout. In August, we moved up a weight class and saw the Yamaha MT-09 come out ahead in another six-motorcycle dog fight.

Naked BMW S1000RR Spotted Testing in Italy – Video

Wed, 29 May 2013

Italian site Motociclismo.it has published a video of what appears to be a naked version of the BMW S1000RR being tested on public roads in Rovereto, Italy. The test model was dressed in camouflage and appears to be close to being ready for production, especially compared to the earlier prototype spotted testing last summer. We expect BMW will officially unveil this S1000RR-based streetfighter at either the Intermot show in Cologne, Germany, or the EICMA show in Milan, Italy, later this fall.
