This BMW motorcycle was recently acquired in trade by our dealership.  Our BMW authorized service department has performed an overall inspection & safety check on this motorcycle along with verifying that there are no open recalls from BMW Motorrad.  In addition, we have also performed an oil & filter change, along with replacing the rear brake pads.

This K1200R has ABS Brakes, Heated Grips, ESA II (Electronic Suspension Adjustment), Sport Wheels, Sport Windshield, White Turn Indicators, and Market Launch Equipment, all OEM from BMW.  This BMW has just over 31,358 miles and we hold a clean Massachusetts Title for this bike.  This BMW in-line 4-cyclinder engine starts easy, runs strong, transmission shifts through all the gears smoothly, so this motorcycle should bring the next owner many thousands of worry free miles.  Please feel free to call 617-275-3784, with any questions or concerns during normal business hours.  Trades are accepted & financing is available for local buyers, but please inquire before bidding!

BMW Announces Recall Campaign for K1600 Family Motorcycles

Fri, 25 Feb 2022

The recall concerns all 2019-2020 BMW K1600 models due to the risk of rear suspension link failure caused by a manufacturing defect - the strength of the part does not meet the factory requirements. This linkage may be destroyed during normal road use, causing the rear of the motorcycle to fall onto the rear wheel. BMW dealers this spring will begin notifying owners of motorcycles that are subject of the recall campaign to visit an authorized dealership for a rear suspension linkage replacement.

Mon, 03 Oct 2011

BMW has unveiled a new more off-road oriented version of the G650GS. Named for a dry backlands region of northeastern Brazil, the 2012 BMW G650GS Sertão adds longer-travel suspension and wire-spoke wheels to make it a more capable machine for off-road adventure riding. The Sertão’s 41mm fork offers over 210mm of travel compared to the regular G650GS’ 170mm.
