BMW K-Series tech info
BMW K-Series description
Garage Kept BMW K1200LT, bike is on a battery tender when in the garage. This bike is well maintained by a BMW Certified Mechanic. As much as I love this bike - I have only ridden it 1,500 miles in the last year. It deserves to be ridden by someone with more time than I have.
Equipped with GPS, AM/FM radio, CD Player. Electronic Windshield. Cup Holder. Extra LED Driving lights are installed. Heated seat and grips. The bike came from the factory with a power center stand. When the power center stand failed several years ago BMW told me there were two parts that could fail. One cost $6.00 - the other was $1,400. The failed part was the expensive one. I had the dealer remove the power center stand and replace it with a manual center stand from a 2004 K1200LT.
The tires were replaced last year. The radio was replaced 4 years ago. Battery is new. The drivers backrest is not in the picture, but comes with the bike. The windshield is an aftermarket upgrade.
This bike handles like a dream, on the back streets, on country roads, on the superhighway you couldn't ask for a better ride. Very capable to handle riding two up for long periods.
Located in Northern Virginia - I can deliver in the Mid Atlantic States for a modest fee.

2025 Triumph Tiger Sport 800 First Look
Tue, 22 Oct 2024A step up from the Tiger Sport 660 Triumph announced an all-new Tiger Sport 800, a sport-touring model that offers a step up from the Tiger Sport 660, without quite crossing over to the adventure-touring side of the spectrum where the similiarly-named Tiger 850 Sport lies. Visually, the Tiger Sport 800 looks much like the 660. The front fairing, front fender and fuel tank covers are nigh identical, apart from the large 800 graphics.
Video: Corvette Stingray Takes on All Corners of the Globe at Willow Springs
Wed, 09 Oct 2013The folks at Edmunds took the 2014 Corvette Stingray and put it to the test at Willow Springs International Raceway versus its usual competitors: the SRT Viper , Nissan GT-R , Porsche 911 , Porsche Cayman S , Ford Shelby GT500 and the BMW M3 . It looks like the "Stingray vs. The World" title suits the video well, given there is one car from Japan, a few from Europe and another one from the U.S.
