Nice low milage 1994 BMW K75 w/ABS, (working). 20k but still riding once a week. Paint is really good 8/10, some discoloration to black metal from being on Long Island 6/10.C fairing with Laminar lip, Running lights, Bright k tail light. Engine bars with foot rests. Standard rear tail rack, not the one shown in picture! Left and Right Type one BMW integral bags, repainted black, included. I've owned this bike for a few years, it was a low seat model and I traded away that for the standard height BMW Comfort seat and replacement battery covers painted by me. The mechanical work performed by Max BMW since 16K when I bought it: Spline lube and new clutch cable, ABS brake fluid bled and changed, Gas filter in tank, new fork seals and new front tire, rear brake pads, 2016. BMW Reports Q3 2011 Results
Thu, 03 Nov 2011The BMW Group reported a 14.8% increase in motorcycle revenue and a 6.5% increase in unit sales during the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2011. The German manufacturer sold 28,862 units over the quarter, including 26,312 BMW-branded motorcycles and 2,550 units from its Husqvarna subsidiary.
WSBK 2013: Jerez Race Report
Mon, 21 Oct 2013Eugene Laverty did everything he could, scoring a pair of race wins but it was not enough as Tom Sykes rode smartly and conservatively at the season finale in Spain, securing his first ever World Superbike Championship. Sykes landed in Jerez with a 37-point lead over Laverty and a 38-point lead over Sylvain Guintoli. While Laverty battled Marco Melandri to win Race One, Sykes coasted comfortably in third for most of the race to score 16 points, enough to clinch the title.
WSBK: 2012 Phillip Island Results – Video
Mon, 27 Feb 2012Max Biaggi won the opening race to the 2012 World Superbike Championship while defending champion Carlos Checa came back from a high-speed crash in the first race to win the second at Australia’s Phillip Island circuit. Reigning champion Checa of Althea Ducati had a stunning high-side crash while leading on the sixth lap of Race One. The WSBK paddock was already in shock with the death of 17-year-old Oscar McIntyre in the Superstock 600 race the day before but thankfully Checa was not seriously injured.
