I have a 2009 G650GS, 7200miles, clean title in hand. Always garage kept. Chain, sprockets, brakes, wheels all in pristine condition. NEVER dropped, scratched, only used on roads. It's fully 'decked out' with every possible option: ABS, Brembo Brakes, GPR Exhaust ($450)(from Milano, Italy) Center-Stand, it has it all. Included: I have 2 official expandable saddlebags ($650), and the official cover($150). I had it painted with BMW Cordoba Blue paint (from R9T) ($400). The bike originally came in red, and I've posted photos of the day I bought it. Handguards included too (mint). The bike doesn't come with windshield, as riding 30mph in Miami is too hot with one and I have already sold it.(-$100) Tire tread is great, have only used Supreme Gasoline, rims look brand new. Front light upgrade and it makes a HUGE difference. I've taken great care of this bike and invested over $10,000 with all the upgrades tallied up. I want to find it a good owner. Around the world on a Multistrada
Tue, 07 Jun 2011Ever since Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman rode their BMW’s around the world it seems anyone with a ‘GS’ has an open ticket to ride around the world and then write about it. And fair enough, if I could afford the bike and the trip then I’d be gone as well. Obviously, BMW reaped the rewards when Ewan and Charlie showcased what their GS could really do, changing BMW’s image from solid but stuffy, to solid and cool overnight.

Sun, 20 Mar 2011Make no mistake Cal Crutchlow is doing an amazing job during his short career in Moto GP. He is asking not to be compared to Ben Spies but when you consider Spies had three Moto GP races under his belt at the same point in his career, Cal's 8th position in Qatar qualifying then 11th in the race is a pretty solid start. He ended 2010 as one of the best world's best superbike riders but the 800cc Moto GP machines require different riding skills. Watching trackside it is easy to see the the riders have to brake later backshift quicker before getting back on the throttle on the corner entry. With the help of advanced electronics this loads the front tyre earlier giving the potential for greater momentum that continues past the apex to the corner exit and beyond.
EICMA 2011 Preview: BMW Maxi-Scooters to Debut in Milan
Fri, 14 Oct 2011BMW will present its 2012 lineup at the upcoming EICMA show in Milan, Italy, but the centerpiece will be the company’s first maxi-scooters. The German manufacturer is expected to reveal two scooter models, both derived from the Concept C BMW unveiled at the 2010 EICMA show. The two scooters are expected to be powered by a version of the parallel Twin engine used in the F800R, but with a lower displacement in the 500cc-650cc range.
