BMW F-Series description

Offered here is a very pristine 2007 BMW F800S.  BMW first offered the 800 vertical twin bikes in 2007 as a Sport "S" model and as a Sport Touring "ST" model. The S model was dropped after 2007 and the ST retained until current times and the replacement 800GT model.  The rather rare S model has the abbreviated bodywork.

This bike, sunset yellow, is in showroom condition with very low miles.  It comes loaded with all factory options: onboard computer, tire pressure monitor, ABS, heated grips, factory centerstand, engine spoiler and factory color-matched rear seat cowling. On top of that, several extra items are included:  Leo Vince exhaust, rear brake reservoir protector, extra-tall Puig windscreen and  stainless Throttlemeister cruise control.  Brand-new Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tires have been balanced and installed.

It's decked-out, boys.

The bike has been dealer-serviced and updated for any recalls etc. It runs like a scalded dog too.  Amazing little bike.

I love the 800S.  It looks, runs, and handles great.  I just have too many bikes and need to pare-down the herd.  I also have the Big Brother R1200S (also only offered in 2007) and I plan to keep it. Im just trying to eliminate a little duplication of purpose here.

The pictures speak for themselves.  It's the closest thing to new you can get with no scratches, dents or known flaws.  I hate to let it go.

Instead of going through the drama of an auction, I'm picking a fair and reasonable, good-deal price and offering it straight-up.  If I went to an auction, I'd have such a reserve anyway.

Drool-worthy new trials bike

Fri, 25 Oct 2013

THIS is the new Montesa Cota 4RT260 Factory, a sort of BMW HP4 of the trials world. Developed in collaboration with Honda, and the Repsol Montesa Honda Trials team, it’s got a 259cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine designed to compete with smaller two-strokes while producing less emissions. There are two versions, the £5,699 standard 4RT260, aimed at amateur-to-advanced riders, and the more competition-focussed Factory Race Replica version, with Showa suspension, at £6,799.
