BMW F-Series description

2013 BMW F700GS with a factory build consisting of ABS, heated grips and accessory socket. I purchased this bike new from Pandora's Motorsports in Chattanooga in Sept 2012 and had them add a TON of awesome accessories. Basically added about everything you could to the bike to make it perfect: BMW large handguard kit, BMW aluminum engine protection bars, BMW enduro aluminum undercarriage protection, and BMW waterproof top case. Also added Cee Bailey's touring windshield, center stand, and Russell Day-Long comfort seat. Wired for battery tender. New battery. One blemish, right handguard, barely noticeable. With only 4,000 miles on the clock this machine is in near mint condition and fully loaded. $13,000+ invested. $8,500. Thanks, Chuck

The automotive world has been buzzing of late about BMW‘s upcoming i3 electric car having an optional range extending gas-powered motorcycle engine. As our sister site Autoguide.com reports, the i3 will be available with an optional two-cylinder BMW motorcycle engine to power a generator which can recharge the electric motor and extend the vehicle’s range to 250 miles compared to a range of 60-90 miles relying just on the battery. It turns out that two-cylinder motorcycle engine will actually be provided to BMW by Taiwanese manufacturer Kymco.

Drool-worthy new trials bike

Fri, 25 Oct 2013

THIS is the new Montesa Cota 4RT260 Factory, a sort of BMW HP4 of the trials world. Developed in collaboration with Honda, and the Repsol Montesa Honda Trials team, it’s got a 259cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine designed to compete with smaller two-strokes while producing less emissions. There are two versions, the £5,699 standard 4RT260, aimed at amateur-to-advanced riders, and the more competition-focussed Factory Race Replica version, with Showa suspension, at £6,799.
