BMW F-Series description

Good day everyone...

Up for auction is my 2010 BMW F800GS. I am the second owner. The title is clear (it will be accompanied with a lien release letter from BMW Financial Services since the loan has been satisfied). She has low miles at 16,101. She has never been down. She has been bullet proof reliable on and off road in my 5 years of ownership. She has been lovingly cared for and well appointed. Here's a listing of all of the goodies:

1) brand new Continental TKC 80 tires front and rear
2) new Metzeler tubes installed
3) Altrider voltage regulator guard
4) Altrider aluminum radiator guard
5) Moose aluminum skid plate
6) Cee Baileys light smoke windscreen (wow...how this made a difference in severely cutting down the turbulence at highway speeds)
7) front brake reservoir aluminum guard
8) Touratech sidestand foot enlarger
9) PIAA fog lamps (switch attached to left control console)
10) Maier rear fender (nicely protects the rear shock when off road)
11) Westco Platinum WCP14 (best battery for this bike in cold weather)
12) SW Motech engine and fairing guard
13) Happy Trails SU rack (winning bidder can buy panniers of their choice from Happy Trails for a drop in fit)
14) Happy Trails rear plate
15) Happy Trails 47 liter lockable top case with key (I used it to store my helmet, gloves, goggles, AND mesh jacket in it when I rode to work)

Included to the winning bidder will be:

- OE engine guard with helmet lock and key
- OE plastic skid plate
- OE rear passenger grab rails
- OE windscreen
- spare keys
- OE owner's manuals
- Michelin Anakee 2 front and rear tires with the Michelin air stop tubes (all in perfect working order)

On a maintenance note:

- valves were checked at 13,074 miles and were found to be on tight end of spectrum (service record from MAX BMW NY)
- engine oil, filter and ABS brake service done by BMW Manhattan at 14,041 (service record)

If the winning bidder would like to have the following items, they will be EXTRA...I have these items on the F8GS presently:

- Akropovic Titanium slip on; the OE stainless steel exhaust will be reinstalled  (+ $250)
- OE BMW Comfort seat bench- what a nice comfortable upgrade from the OE motocross style. It's wider at the bum and lower in seat height (+ $250)
- Wolfman Expedition waterproof soft luggage NEW condition (+ $200)

This is a no warranty as is auction. I reserve the right to cancel the auction at anytime as it is listed locally.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I have a feedback rating of 100%. Feel confident that this is a good faith and bona fide listing.

Thanks for looking...

Great luck bidding...

2025 Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory – First Look

Wed, 06 Nov 2024

Öhlins suspension, 105 hp engine, and updated electronics highlight the middle Tuono’s Factory treatment Following in the footsteps of the RS660 Factory, Aprilia is launching a Tuono 660 Factory as well. The main talking point for the Tuono 660 Factory is an upgrade to Öhlins suspension, with the NIX30 fork and STX 46 shock replacing the pieces on the standard model. The Tuono 660, as you likely know by now, is the naked variant of the RS660, and as such, shares much of the same framework as its fully-faired sibling.

Can You Add Apple CarPlay To Your Motorcycle?

Wed, 04 Sep 2024

We discuss how you can do that with the help of our friends at Dennis Kirk We live in a technology-driven world, and most of the time, those new-fangled gadgets trickle down into the motorcycles we ride. Often, that makes for faster, better, and safer bikes, but if the two-wheeled market has one blind spot, it’s the lack of native Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support in our infotainment systems. Instead, we are often forced to use many proprietary applications to accommodate mobile integration, and their performance leaves a lot to be desired.
