BMW F-Series description

Garage Kept, covered and on Battery tender. New Battery this Summer. Low Miles 1450. Has all options offered for 2009 model except Tire Pressure Monitor. Serviced BMW dealership. Has following modifications; OEM low seat (seat height to 30 inch), OEM stock seat (height of 32 inch), TourMaster Cortech Sport Saddle Bags, TouraTech GPS Handlebar Mount with battery connectors, Hyper-Lite Flashing Brake Lights, Bar end sliders, BMW valve stem covers, BMW dust cover, BMW battery tender, BMW F800 repair manual disc and Haynes F800 repair manual book.
Only blemish on this vehicle are some small scratches on the fairings; left lower and right upper that you can only notice through close inspection, and  small scratch left mirror that is barley noticeable.
I am the second owner, purchased from primary owner 8/2010 with odometer reading of 9 miles.
Title is clear and in my name.
I am very hesitant to sell this bike as it looks, rides and runs beautifully. Only selling because I don't have time to ride and tired of looking at a great motorcycle going to waste in my garage.
Local pickup only, or I will ride it to you within a reasonable distance.

2014 BMW R nineT Production Begins

Tue, 03 Dec 2013

The first production models of the BMW R nineT roadster have rolled off the assembly line in Berlin. The R nineT is a special model for BMW, representing the company’s 90 years in the motorcycle industry, so it’s no surprise the start of production was made with much fanfare. BMW invited 100 guests including the team from German customization studio Urban Motor to watch assembly of the first three units of the R nineT including the final dynamometer testing where more than 1,000 different parameters are measured before a motorcycle can be released.

FIM to Revise WSBK Homologation Requirements

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

The International Motorcycling Federation is considering modifying its homologation requirements for the World Superbike Championship following Bimota‘s somewhat surprising plans to re-enter the series. Under current regulations, manufacturers must produce a minimum number of motorcycles for it to be eligible to compete in the production-based WSBK championship. The official regulations currently require a minimum of 125 units produced for an initial homologation inspection, 500 units produced by June 30 of the current year, 1,000 units by the end of the current year and 2,000 units by the end of the following year.
