Lightweight (412lbs wet), nimble, comfortable upright seated position, fast-revving, high-torque with plenty of power, yet fuel efficient (45-71mpg). Low-maintenance belt drive.

PERKS: Brembo ABS brakes, heated grips (replaced in 2008), upgraded Remus Titan Revolution muffler (stock provided, if you prefer the more quiet BMW hum), Wunderlich adjustable clutch lever, battery hook-up cable for Battery Tender or heated clothing, fuel pump replaced at 20,000 miles, along with recall work to install rubber cover over pump (you get spare fuel pump), power socket (cigarette lighter-style) near ignition for charging gadgets, two copies of OEM BMW Service Manual and burned CD, two cut keys & two blanks, two spare oil filters, rear luggage grid, soft Tourmaster rear bag, soft Nelson-Rigg saddle bags. Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.
