Lightweight (412lbs wet), nimble, comfortable upright seated position, fast-revving, high-torque with plenty of power, yet fuel efficient (45-71mpg). Low-maintenance belt drive.

PERKS: Brembo ABS brakes, heated grips (replaced in 2008), upgraded Remus Titan Revolution muffler (stock provided, if you prefer the more quiet BMW hum), Wunderlich adjustable clutch lever, battery hook-up cable for Battery Tender or heated clothing, fuel pump replaced at 20,000 miles, along with recall work to install rubber cover over pump (you get spare fuel pump), power socket (cigarette lighter-style) near ignition for charging gadgets, two copies of OEM BMW Service Manual and burned CD, two cut keys & two blanks, two spare oil filters, rear luggage grid, soft Tourmaster rear bag, soft Nelson-Rigg saddle bags. 2014 WSBK – Phillip Island Results

When he signed with the team, Eugene Laverty said he would give all he possibly could to bring Suzuki back to the top of the podium once again. Well, it sure didn’t take the Northern Irishman long to accomplish that goal, winning the very first race of the 2014 season at Australia’s Phillip Island course. The win was Laverty’s third in a row, including the final two races of the 2013 season when he raced for Aprilia.

BMW Begins Motorcycle Production in Thailand

BMW has opened a new motorcycle assembly line at the company’s factory in Thailand. The facility will initially only produce F800R roadsters from complete knock-down kits for the Thai market, though BMW plans to eventually make the facility a production hub for other Asian markets. The Thai facility is BMW’s first wholly-owned motorcycle assembly plant outside of Germany, though the company does share facilities in Manaus, Brazil with local manufacturer DAFRA Motos.

BMW Announces Returning 2013 Models – All with ABS Standard

BMW announced eight models returning for 2013, all receiving new colors and ABS as standard. Beyond that, the most notable news is what models have not been announced. The returning 2013 BMW models include the F800R, the G650GS, the R1200R, the S1000RR, the K1300S, the K1300R, the K1600GT and K1600GTL.
