BMW All description
For sale is a 2009 BMW R1200GS. This bike is almost brand new. Has only 4,600 miles on the odometer. I bought it brand new from BMW of Santa Cruz County in 2010. Rode to and from work for a little bit. Bike has never seen dirt. Equipped with ABS and electronic suspension control. I have added a Remus full exhaust, Hepco and Becker lower crash bars, Whunderlich adjustable levers, break and clutch master cylinder caps, oil filler cap, Touratech steering stopper, Maier USA rear splash guard, oil cooler guard, HID head lights, adventure windscreen and winglets, and a BMW soft rear bag. Selling because I do not have the time to ride it like it deserves. Buyer will have to pick up the bike in person. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks

My S1000RR has stopped but it's only a broken chain.
Thu, 15 Sep 2011I know there has been a lack of blogging on my S1000RR recently and that’s because it’s broken, but only a little bit. On July 18th I was at Silverstone looking after some Bahnstormer BMW customers, when late in the afternoon something hit me on the back as I was charging down the Wellington Straight. At that precise moment I also thought I had hit a false neutral but it turns out the chain had snapped.
Motorcycle.com Adds a New Editor
Mon, 05 Nov 2012While some moto publications are cutting back and constricting, Motorcycle.com is proud to announce the addition of a new editor to our masthead. MO readers, meet Jon Langston, our new Associate Editor. I knew Langston was a cool cat when I first met him at the Harley-Davidson Blackline unveiling in January 2011.
2011-2013 BMW F800GS and F700GS Recalled in Canada
Wed, 19 Jun 2013Transport Canada announced a recall for the 2011-2013 BMW F800GS and the 2013 F700GS because of a problem with the kickstand ignition cut-off switch. The switch is designed to turn off the engine when the stand is down and the motorcycle is shifted into gear; this prevents the motorcycle from being ridden with the kickstand deployed. On certain BMW F800GS and F700GS models however, the cut-off switch can loosen and become damaged.
