Breaks my heart to sell it. Have to for financial reasons. Bought in new in the fall for a little over 17K, including tax and a jacket. Stored it for several months in the winter. Barely ridden. This is a rare opportunity to get the bike at such a cheap price. Have to get out from under the loan. Gonna take a big bath here. Has about 5 months left on the Manufacturers warranty.
This is simply an amazing bike, the best in all regards I have ever experienced. So elegant in the vicious amount of speed it has. The braking is smooth, I have never noticed the ABS. No shuddering. I have been very gentle with it since the engine is new. The low end to high end torque and sheer power is surreal. It lays down a tight line, no diving or wobbling ever, moves like it has gyroscopes under it. At highway speeds it purrs like a kitten. Just a profoundly elegant ride in all respects as well as a beast when the throttle is twisted. The computer is simple to use. The bike wants the open road with high speed twisties. Aspar Racing Presents Aprilia RSV4-Based CRT MotoGP Race Bike
Wed, 21 Mar 2012The Aspar Team officially presented its CRT MotoGP team including riders Randy de Puniet and Aleix Espargaro and the team’s new Aprilia RSV4-based race bikes. Aspar is using an ART race bike which consists of an Aprilia-designed aluminum frame with an engine based on the RSV4′s powerplant. Whereas Aprilia claims an output of 178 hp from the production engine, Aspar claims the ART’s 65-degree V4 engine produces over 220 hp.
2014 WSBK – Laguna Seca Results
Mon, 14 Jul 2014Marco Melandri rebounded from last week’s disappointing Portimao round to win Race One at Laguna Seca while Tom Sykes extended his championship lead with a win in a red-flagged Race Two. Melandri got taken out of the second Portimao race after his Aprilia teammate Sylvain Guintoli slid into his RSV4. Melandri looked eager to make up for that DNF, leading every lap of Race One on his way to his third win of the season.
2014 WSBK Provisional Entry List – 27 Riders and 9 Manufacturers
Thu, 30 Jan 2014The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released a provisional entry list for the 2014 World Superbike Championship. The provisional list includes 27 riders riding motorcycles from nine different manufacturers. Of these riders, 12 are riding in the new EVO sub-category which limits engine upgrades and electronics to Superstock class rules.
