Breaks my heart to sell it. Have to for financial reasons. Bought in new in the fall for a little over 17K, including tax and a jacket. Stored it for several months in the winter. Barely ridden. This is a rare opportunity to get the bike at such a cheap price. Have to get out from under the loan. Gonna take a big bath here. Has about 5 months left on the Manufacturers warranty.
This is simply an amazing bike, the best in all regards I have ever experienced. So elegant in the vicious amount of speed it has. The braking is smooth, I have never noticed the ABS. No shuddering. I have been very gentle with it since the engine is new. The low end to high end torque and sheer power is surreal. It lays down a tight line, no diving or wobbling ever, moves like it has gyroscopes under it. At highway speeds it purrs like a kitten. Just a profoundly elegant ride in all respects as well as a beast when the throttle is twisted. The computer is simple to use. The bike wants the open road with high speed twisties. 2014 Aprilia Tuono V4 R Gets ABS and Horsepower Upgrade
Thu, 11 Jul 2013Aprilia has updated its Tuono V4 R for 2014, equipping the naked sportbike with anti-lock brakes, enlarging the fuel tank and pumping more horses from its 1000cc V4 engine. The Aprilia Tuono was already a favorite here at Motorcycle.com, and the latest updates should only reinforce that opinion. The Bosch 9MP ABS adds a degree of safety while only adding 4.4 pounds to the Tuono’s weight.

Sun, 15 Aug 2010Just rocked home after a really good cross-country blast home from Birkenhead docks. The VFR developed a weird hiccup this morning in Belfast on the way to the Norfolkline ferry terminal and occasionally feels like it’s suffering from fuel starvation – like a blocked fuel tank breather or something – but only around 2,000rpm and only now and again. It’s not consistent and the only way round it is to dip the clutch and give it a few blips and then it seems to clear its throat.
