2014 Aprilia Tuono V4 R Gets ABS and Horsepower Upgrade

Thu, 11 Jul 2013

Aprilia has updated its Tuono V4 R for 2014, equipping the naked sportbike with anti-lock brakes, enlarging the fuel tank and pumping more horses from its 1000cc V4 engine. The Bosch 9MP ABS adds a degree of safety while only adding 4.4 pounds to the Tuono’s weight.

Aprilia USA’s New Marketing Campaign

Thu, 05 Apr 2012

The campaign debuts with a new microsite, www.apriliamasters.com and Facebook app at www.facebook.com/ApriliaAmericas. “To ride an Aprilia motorcycle is to fully understand what it is like to take race-proven technology, power and design and apply it to street bikes,” said Melissa R.

Eugene Laverty, aboard his Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000, led the field today as the first day of World Superbike testing got underway at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia, site of the first race of the 2014 season. Under sunny skies and perfect weather conditions, Laverty adapted quickly to his new ride after spending last season aboard the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. The Suzuki offered incredible feedback and allowed him to push right out of the gates, ultimately setting a fastest lap time of 1:30.513.
